Scrapn With Flair

Scrap’n With Flair was nothing but a scrapbooker’s dream until about a year ago.   It was something I would talk incessantly about with family and friends.   My dear husband was the one who gave me the final push in making my decision.   He said to me, in not so many words, “Ok, Leanne you either have to open the store or stop talking about it.   So, knowing I could NEVER stop talking about it Scrap’n With Flair was born.

My passion for scrapbooking started about 14 years ago.  I was running a childcare business out of my home and a child that had been with me for a quite some time was leaving.  Being the sentimental soul that I am, I didn’t want her to forget the fun times we had together.  So, I created my first scrapbook.  Money was tight back then so, I didn’t use traditional scrapbooking supplies.  All I had were some pictures, construction paper and a coloring book.(I wish I would have had the foresight, back then, to take pictures of it) It wasn’t fancy or expensive but it brought tears to her mom’s eyes when I presented it to them.  That was the moment my passion, some say addiction, began.  

Since then I have been a Close To My Heart consultant and I have also taught classes at Paper Trails here in Saskatoon.  Scrap'n With Flair is the next step in my creative journey.
